REPARATIONS QUESTION,
DOMINION VIEWS
(United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)
(Received this clay at 8.30. a.m.) LONDON, May 13.
The “Sunday Herald’s’’ political correspondent understands diplomatic circles are most gratified at Australian strong representations of protest. “We may take it.” said a spokesman, “that Australia is speaking the mind of all-the Dominions, showing the Empire would never accept such a reduction. The Dominions and Colonics wou’cl not bo askcft to softer any reductions, because they are not iepiesented at the conference. Any reduction would only apply to those having delegates.” Jt is believed that if any scheme emerges from the present deliberations the Dominions and Colonies will either not he asked to forego any reparation receipts or will he invited to have full representation.
