Dealing with the property market Air liitcnie said that reports from hi: brother agents, together with his owi experience, led him to the opinion thai the market wa,s showing signs of a revival. There was certainly more en quiry than there was some time ago. and the volume of business transacted was larger. The examination conducted by the Real Estate Institute o’ New Zealand had attracted A lot o: attention and was now, lie trusted, ai annual event. It was pleasing to fine that many younger men were takinf up the course 'and realising that in gaining the knowledge necessary tc pass the examination they were oh taming not only an asset for themselves, but something that would bi of benefit to their employers and t; those with whom they would to business.
Mr Ritchie was re-electe.l president for the eleventh year and Messrs A F. Quelcli and D. Spedding were dec ted vice-presidents.
