MAGISTRATE’S COURT
THURSDAY, ALAY 9th. (Before AY. Aleklrum, Esq., S.AI.) LICENSING ACT. Police v. M. Iveenan, licensee Royal Mail Hotel, AVoodstock, charges of keeping open and selling liquor after hours. After hearing evidence the charges were dismissed. Mr •Murdoch appeared for defendant. MAINTENANCE. In a suit for maintenance the defendant husband was ordered to pay £1 10s weekly and costs £5 19s. .In a charge of disobedience of maintenance order, the defendant was convicted and sentenced to seven days and to pay £2 2s cash to plaintiff’s solicitor. DEBT CASES. H. M. Coulson v. J. Lamberton, claim £1 Is. Judgment by default with costs 19s. Alfred D. Sneddon v. Lambton and Co., charge of breach of sawmill award. Judgment for £1 and costs Ss. AV. Jeffries and Co. v. R-. N. Harvey, claim £ls. Judgment for amount with costs 265. ASSAULT. William Olderog (Air Alurdoch) v. D. J. Agnew (Air Elcock), a charge of assault at Arahura. Defendant pleaded not guilty. After hearing evidence .defendant was. convicted and fined 10s and costs £l 11s. W -
