Extra heavy steers sold at £l9 10s to £2l. 2s fid, heavy £l7 to £lB os, handy weights £ls os to £l6 10s, medium £ll 15s to £l2 15s, light and unfinished from from £9 15s. .Extra heavy heifers and cows sold to ;ku 5s to £ls 17s 6d, prime £8 10s . /jto £lO 10s, medium £7 5s to £8 os, others from £5. The store sheep lambs comprised a . moderate yarding, mostly of backward sorts, and prices were a shade below the previous rates. A good entry of . adult sheep and a large proportion of 'wethers, mostly unattractive, and values were easier. I Jn fat sheep there was a fair yarding, all-classes selling well up to late rates. Extra prime wethers sold to 36s 7d, prime 32s 6d to 35s 6d, medium 29s 6d to 325, light 26s to 28s, extra prime owes to 33s lOd, prime ewes 29s to 30s 6d, medium 23s to 25s fid, light 19s 6a to 235, inferior los fid to 18s. A small entry of fat lambs was mostly of inferior quality, but all classes . sold readily. Extra prime lambs sold to 35s lOd, good lambs 30s to 335, medium 28s to 29s’ 6d, light from 25s fid. A heavy entry of fat pigs found valhes irregular, with an easing tendency. A medium entry of store pigs showed a decline on late rates.
