Ladies and Gentlemen': I AM AGAIN a candidate at the forthcoming Election and invite a continuation of your support and interest on my behalf on polling day, Wednesday next. ] have had the honor of serving you now for many years, and in the term just closing have occupied the Chair during the period in which the Council was able to free itself from an overdraft debt of long standing, thereby making a useful saving to the funds in interest payments. At the same time I have seen great improvements to the general condition of the roads of the County as a whole and Central Riding in particular. If again honored with your support I hope it will he possible during the term to have a considerable section of tlite Kokatahi district highway tar sealed in order to afford the settlers the same improved standard of roadway enjoyed elsewhere. Also, I will be prepared to give every consideration as heretofore to the general requirements of the district, and will make it'a special point of seeing Station Road, Koiterangi, completed within the currentfinancial year, if at all possible. The other district roads in respect to the sawmilling and mining industries will also have my closest attention if returned as one of your representatives. As you are aware I am also giving you service on' the Westland Hospital Board. Thanking you for the sustained support over past years, and assuring you o. the desire to continue in your service for the good of the district, in which i have considerable stake, I am etc., Yours obediently, ELISHA A.
