A DISTINCT SUCCESS. The sports gathering at Kokntahi football ground on Saturday took place in perfect weather and attracted a large attendance from all parts of the district including the Blackball Pipe Band under Pipe-Major Blackmun, which enlivened the proceedings considerably with the musical programme. 'Pne Committee together with the joint secretaries (Alessrs Shannon and toiuvus) iiad made complete arrangements and tlie whole programme was run off in excellent manner and proven . ei\\ ‘enjoymole.
