QUEEN CARNIVAL
FROCKS WORN AT CROWNING. A special feature, which was inadverluy omitted from our last evening’s issue in tne report of the Queen Coronation, was the dainty fracking ol the Queen and her retinue Her Majesty Queen Valerie, was attired in white satin with an elaborate court train, profusely beaded. Her attendants were .Misses Violet Ross and Daisy Chinn, attired in pink and blue crepe-dc-eliine. Her train bearers were Miss .June Keenan attired in white crcpe-de-eliene, ami Mass Peggy Dowell as page, attired in while satin. Two dainty flower girls, Misses Clare Kortogast and Dorothy Chinn, attired in pink and blue crepe-di-cliene, proceeded t!ie Queen and strewed her path with rose petals. Miss Moira Stapforth, Princess of Sport, was attired in shot green taffetas and a white satin court train. She was ttciidcd by Misses Dorothy Stop forth and Molly Burger, attired in lemon and rose crept-de-cliene respectively. Her train irearers were Miss Norma Duncan, in coral pink crepc-dc-ehenu. and Brian Burns as page, in green satin. Miss Gladys Turner, Princess of Fire Brigade, was attired in cyclamen oropesylviu and silver lace with court train t otono. Her attendants were Misses ,l e an Park and Alary Hart, in pink and blue taffetas respectively. Her train borers wore Miss Doreen Hagnr, in shell pink crepe de client!, and Eyinard Creagli as page, in cream velvet. Miss Josie O’Neil, Princess of Kokatalii was attired in white orepo-de-oheno and silver trimming and court train to tone. Her attendants were Miss A lolly Cameron and Molly McGavin. in pink taffetas and apricot orope-do-ehcnc respectively. Her train hearers were Miss Betty How ah. in white crepo-de-chene and Miss Mavis Blake as page, in blue satin. The Mistress of IB bos, Miss Mary MeGirr. was attired in an early Victorian frock of lemon taffetas.
