TH BEATEN INC LETTERS.

(United Press Association—By Electric Teleg. ..pb—Copyright). WASHINGTON, May 2. Secret Service officials to-day seized a man who was attempting to force his way into President Hoover’s office. He carried threatening letters on his person, similar to those recently received by the President. This is the second attempt to reach President Hoover since he entered White House. A few weeks ago a neat-ly-dressed man, who was not challenged by the police guard at the mansion, entering the dining-room where President Hoover was alone. The President talked with the man until a guard came and showed him out. Extraordinary precautions are being taken to prevent a repetition.
