A Darwin message states an extraordinary brutal assault on handcuffed aboriginal prisoners by a constable, was revealed in court, when Tommy M,oyle, an aboriginal, was charged with the murder of a native woman. Jt was revealed that the constable, upon getting three liand-cuffed prisoners to the police station, gave them a thrashing with a waddy and then questioned them about the tragedy. The Crown Prosecutor immediately withdrew the case for the Crown and the jury returned a verdict of not guilty without leaving the box.
