EVERYBODYS PICTURES. “ FLYING ROMEOS’’-TO-NIGHT. The Odyssey of George Sidney and Charlie Murray continues to embrace new and more hilarious occupations and adventures. Like tho heroes of mythology chronicled in the famous epic poem, these two comedians have been wandering from adventure to adventure in their First National comedies. Now they have become aviators as their latest step. This is in “ Flying Romeos,” their current comedy feature at the Princess Theatre tonight. As far as the screen is concerned, Sidney and Murray have been policemen, firemen, barbers, soldiers, bar-tenders and diverse other things. This is their first venture into the air. Roth individually popular on stage and screen, Sidney and Murray, together, make an ideal comedy team and their success was assured with the reception given their various comedies including ‘‘Sweet Daddies,” “ The Life of Riley,” and “Lost at the Front,” all highly popular and successful. An airplane race, in which expert fliers perform all the daring feats known to airmen is one of the features of ‘‘Flying Romeos.” Immelman turns, falling leaves, breath-taking dives, were some of the stunts performed for the edification of the camera, and those who have seen the picture declare the scenes are particularly thrilling. Sidney and Murray did considerable flying themselves during the making of the picture, and risked their celebrated comedy necks by indulging in some nerve-racking stunts.
The second chapter of the world’s greater circus serial will also be shown together with a good comedy.
