AFGHAN BATTLE

IMMINENT NEAR CAPITAL

(United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

DELHI, May 1. A fierce battle betwixt Baccha-1-Sakau and Nadir Khan is imminent.

Having failed in an, attempt to bribe Nadir Khan, Bacclia boldly sent an army to meet him, leaving Kabul practically undefended. Nadir Khan has determined to fight the rebel king and to enter.the capital. He is advancing with a force of six thousand men to meet Baccha.

Nadir has the support of his brother. Shah Mahmud, and there is a possibility of the brothers launching a frontal and flank attack-* thus cutting off Baceba’s retreat to Kabul. ■
