CORRESPONDENCE
(To the Editor.) .Sir.—Your editorial comments in yesterday’s issue anont the local commemoratoin of Anzae Day are most commendable, and stress an omission which is worthy of remembrance in the future. Allow me to point out. however, that in considerable numbers the young people were included itluj. ceremony on tljo, 25th instant, since 44 Boy Scouts and Cubs, also an almost equal number of Girl Guides, pai’o'ded and took part in the. function’ throughout. There must not be forgotten also the smart body of Cadets, who. made a very, creditable muster. All these bore themselves with syi;io}ijSuoss .equal tp ; their seniors, the Territijrials .and Returned Alcn, nssoyiacion with whom in this manner, added. lam sure,..to the improssivcnesij'of the occasion fur thorn. At the sanier. time- the special assembly of the young people;, such as you suggest, would provide opportunity lor iccountjng to them in simple words the story of Anzae, and all that it statics fur, the import of which cannot he too often repeated. ~ I "am, etc. 1 /' “7 A.
