CAMPBEL’S SPEED

CAPETOWN, April 26

After 21 hours’ isolation due to electrical storms, Campbell broke the world’s 5-mile and 5-kilometre record to-day at an average speed of 21*2 miles an hour, about !) miles an hour hotter thaii the previous record.
