M ill in m Andrew Wilson, -SS, farmer of Teuku, was knocked down at Hamilton oil Tuesday by a car driven by L. C. Buckingham. Wilson died this morning at the hospital. An inquest was opened to-day and adjourned.

A resident of Takapiina, Geoffrey Shaw, aged 16, was drowned when a canvas canoe in which he and another boy wore crossing Lake Pupuke. capsized and sank yesterday afternoon. The other hoy was rescued, hut Shaw’s body lias not yet been recovered.
