NEGOTIATIONS FOR ALLIANCE

Negotiations, instituted by the Federal Seamen's Unions of Australia anil New Zealand, with a view to forming an alliance with the Federated Seamen’s Union ol Canada, have been ratified by Canadian headquarters. A conference will he held at Vancouver to work out details, and is to he attendee? I ,v all organisations concerned. A possible amalgam! ion has caused seme agitation in Canadian marine allairs, as the union would reinforce Canadians in the fight for higher wages and better living conditions on Canadian snip* in return for the support Canadians prepared case for members of antipodean unions stranded here or in hospital.
