Roa, Blackball, Kniata. and Barrytown. On the Coast 1 have had tun? to visit only a few schools as yet. Ihc work at the Little Moonlight School >s outstanding. It is an example of how things can he done when committee, teacher and pupils are all enthusiastic The committee deserves its share oi credit. Money is not showered on small schools by tbe Department, the members of tbe committee are Imr-l working farmers, and yet they fnd time and means to keep their gronn is in splendid order, and get necessary work done, if but a bint of its necessity is given. All committees are, alas! not like tin’s. Tbe garden plots at the Moonlight school would mak • many of the larger schools ashamed el tbe excuses they sometimes offer foi neglect. The garden at Barrytown too, is another example of the goo 1 work that can he done by a small school. During the coming week 1 shall be inspecting in tbe .southern district, where, in addition to the school work there are a few boys’ and girls’ mot growing clubs to look after. CONFERENCE OF BOARDS.
