Most of the sportsmen who have been deer stalking in South Westland, have returned to Dunning’s Accommodation House, Makarora. .Some notable trophies were secured by the following sportsmen — Mr H. Johnson, 13 pointer, 49 inches long, 37 inches wide. Sir F. Bathurst, 14 points. 35 x 37. Mr G. Cooper, 1(5 points, 42J- x 33 x i3i beam.
