By a curious coincidence the Borough elections and the Chrysanthemum Show are both on the same day, Wednesday, May Ist. Every elector will he anxious to get to the poll to record their vote, but to avoid any disappointment to exhibitors in the conveyance£of their exhibts to the Soldiers’ Hal) that morning, Mr W. Newman, the well-known garage proprietor, has kindly placed a car at the disposal of the committee, for the purpose of the-Carriage of exhibits, free of any charge. This kindly help of Mr Newman is'greatly appreciated by the committee, and ensures the certainty of the delivery of the exhibits, especially if the morning happens to be a wet one.
