REQUEST FOR SALE OF BOOT. “Offer tliis carcase of mine to U Medical College for scientific purposes and what money is obtained from it hand to my landlady. A week’s wages due to me from the Bute Estate also give to her, as I owe her that and much more.” This was the unusual bequest of John Thomas, found dead with his head on a gas ring at his lodging in Cardiff. A brother said that Thomas had been wounded in the head in the war. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was recorded.
