Volunteer labour to-day attempted to drive .some loaded timber jinkers out >l' Moore's Timber Yard at South Mclboiirue. Mounted police preceded them. -Mobs ol the timl.'er strikers closed round the j inkers. They threw stones and jeered at the police. The police •barged them with batons. The strikers ran in all directions.
