WOMEN POLICE NOT FAVOURED Si lift? milking inquiries <ii" police Minimus in the South Island the Ministered Justice, the Hon. T. M. Willard, stales that he is more than ever convinced that it will not‘he practieahle to appoint women police for service in New Zealand. The Minister made this statement in commenting on the movement by the National Council of Women in support of the proposal for the appointment of women for police duty. Mr Wilford slated flint police matrons as appointed at present performed all the duties that the National Council of Women wished police women to perform.
