Kegarding the statement wirelessed from Apia the “Star” says a careful search of the advertising records fails i i disclose .any advertisement containing; the words “Samoan odicials wlm have pillaged funds of Samoan treasury.”
Further, Mall Elton (President of the New Zealand Samoan Defence League) slates: “I have no recollection of any adver'isement or anj report of the kind pit hi ished in the Auckland “Star.”
