There wore good yardings to-day at Addington market, some lines easing 11 price.

l 1 at cattle: There was a larger yarding of GUO head, and a good steady demand, but nevertheless there was a decline on last week’s high prices. Extra heavy steers sold from £l9 ills to £2l 12s (id. heavy £l7 to £lB 15s. handy weights £ls 5s to £lfi 15s, medium £l3 to £l-1 15s. unfinished amt light fill) 1 10s to £l3 ss. Extra heavy cows .sold from £ll 10s to £ls 12s Gel, prime £9 10s to £ll 15s, medium £8 15s to £9 15s, light £5 10s to £7. Extra heavy prime heifers sold from £l3 15s to £ls 2s Gd. prime £l2 to £l3 ss. medium £9 5s to £lO 17s Gd. others £7 10s to £8 15s.

Store sheep—There was another large entry of all classes. Cull lambs were easier. Adult sheep were selling on a par with late rates, with an easing tendency.

Fat sheen - There was a large yarding. thi' quality being good in most east's. There was a good, firm demand, especially lor better quality. A'alues were: Extra prime heavy wethers to 3Gs Kid. prime ewes to 34s (id. medium to 31s Gd. liglil to 2S)s. Extra prime ewes sold to 33s 10d. prime to Ills, medium 2Gs. light to 2!s. Fat lambs—There was a medium yarding. The market was firmer. Fat pigs—There was a large yarding. and the market was easier. 'I lie quality generally was poor. Choppers si.ld from £2 to £O. light baconers £3 to £3 l-Is, heavy £3 Los to £4 4s Gd. extra heavy to £4 9s Gd. average price od to Gd per lb. Light pork was sold from 38s to 445. heavy 4is to o-ls Gd. the average price being 7d to > :!<! per lb.

There was a small entry ol store pigs and a fair demand.
