WESTLAND SUB-UNION. AIONDAY. APRIL Bth. The Committee of the Westland SubUnion met at 7 p.m. Present: Messrs if. AL Coulson (Chairman), F. AfeGrcgor. .J. Stafford, H. AlcAlannaway. A. Cutbusli, J. Coulson. J. Breeze, J. Williams. 1). Dowell. R. .McDonald. J. Cooper anil E. \Y. Heenan. The minutes were read and confirmed and correspondence read and received. The balance sheet was read and adopted. Tlie Chairman outlined his report on the past successful season and congratulated members on the general success. Jt was resolved that all trophies be handed to the various Clubs entitled to hold them. The President concluded the meeting by wishing the Union a successlul year in 1929. YY ESTI - AND REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. At a well-attended meeting held in Keller's Sample Rooms on Saturday. April (sth. at 9 p.m.. it was decided to re-form the Westland Referees’ Association. The following office-bear-ers were elected : President: Mr 1). Dowell. Vice-Presidents: Alessrs 10. Heenan and A. C’utlnisb. Secretary: Air '*. C. Williamson. Delegate to Sii'i-l'nioii : Air A. t- utbusli. It was decided to elect an emergency appointment committee consisting of the President. Secretary, and Air L. Hughes. It was decided to meet on Monday evenings prior to the Sub-Union meeting. It was resolved to procure a supply of the latest hand-books for the use of members. The meeting then terminated with a vote of thanks to tAie Chair.
