.MONDAY, APKI I, Bth. Tito Committee met at 7 p.ttt. Present: -Messrs A. C. Armstrong (Chairman), 'Richards, Shannon, Redder and Conning. Apologies were received from Most!nines Wilson and Perry and .Mr Sweney. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. INWARD COR RESPONDENT'S. From Education Board, notifying reappointment of Miss Duff as secondary assistant. —Received and approved. From same, notifying resignation o! .Mr Ridland as probationer.—Received. From Health Department. Wellington, stating a dental officer could not be supplied till May.—Keceivcn. Accounts tabled were passed for payment. Messrs Richards and Shannon reported on conditions at school as satisfactory.—Received; requirements recommended left to Secretary to arrange. The Rector (-Mr E. Partridge) reported the roll number was: Primary 209 (average attendance 277.7) and secondary' 107 (average attendance 103.7) : reporting sports would he held on Wednesday of tins week if weather fine; asking for some school requirements.— Received. A request for the Committee to support an educational picture entertainment to he. shown on May Ist. was approved. The meeting then closed.
