Christian, of Palmerston North to-day presented to Arthur Cutler, who headed the Palmerston North Boys’ High School bowling average, for last season, an interesting and unique trophy in the shape ol P. F. Warner's famous cricket book, “bight for the Ashes in 102(3.” autographed by the 14)28-2!) team, which has just completed its tour of Australia. Mr Christian received the bonk with its invaluable autographs as the result of his association with Mr R. Jardine. father of D. R. .Inrdine. tin* member of Chapman’s team in Australia this season. Arthur Cutler, tin* lucky recipient of the trophy, is one ol the keenest cricketers who have attended the Palmerston North Bovs’ High School, and the present is the third year in the first eleven, which he has captained during the past season.
