LEGAL CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, April o. At its final session to-day, the Legal Conference resolved to set up a Legal Education Committee to take into consideration the matters and proposals in the papers read by the AttorneyGeneral and Professor Adamson. It was also decided to recommend the Law Society to appoint an Executive Officer to assist it in carrying into operation the matters dealt with by the Conference, and also to deal with matters affecting the profession morally, such officer to devote all his time to the work, and not to engage in private practice. It was urged that a salary should be paid sufficient to enable the Law Society to secure the services of a lawyer of executive ability and standing m the profession. MUSTERED KILLED.
