The Prince of Wales flow to Eogmir this morning, to spoilt! a day with tlie King and Queen at Craigweii House. He motored to Xortholt Royal Air Forte aerodrome in Middlesex where a special aeroplane was awaiting him. Squadron-Leader Don. who has piloted the Prince on previous flights, was the pilot. The visit took ;U T ’ing and Queen b v surprise. Their .Majesties were walking in the g'onnd.s when a telephone message was received stating the Prince was on his way. and a car was despatched to Tangmcre aerodrome to meet him.

Three aeroplanes from the aerodrome went up to welcome the Prinee who made the journey by air, not to save time, but because lie preferred the air journey. The aeroplane stood by at TaiigmeVe. until the afternoon when the return journey was made in 3o minutes. The Prince spent lorn and si-half hours sit Craigweii House. By arrangements made last year, si Bristol Fighter of the Royal Air Force communication squadron at Nortliolt. is kept in readiness for the Prince wheiieter he decides to travel be. U;i to keep engagements.
