New Zealand’s representative Paquito 'followed Saturday’s success with a smart win in the Local Handicap. Wentworth Handicap. Dreamdale and Malayan, dead heat, 1, Palmdale 3. Twenty started. They won by a length. Time 1.14. Local Cup Handicap.—Paquito 1, Waipori 2, Coloured 3. Thirteen started. Won comfortably by a length. Time 2.4 3-4.
