The inaugural flight of the England to India air mail service continues to make good progress. Last evening the flying-Doat reached Athens from Naples, alighting perfectly on the choppy waters of Phileron Bay. Sir Samuel Hoare and Air \ ioeMarshall Vyvyan went ashore to the British Legation, and later dined there with M. Veuizelos (Greek Prime Minister). The flight to Alexandria will be continued to-day.

Italy is entering three seaplanes for the Schneider Cup race. It *is announced they will he piloted by entiioK new officers, who are at present undergoing intensive high speed piaitiie.

If the conditions are favourable a start will he made to-morrow by the Royal Air Force Fairey monoplane, to fly non-stop from C ran well aerodrome, Lincolnshire, to Durban. Flight.-Lieut. Jenkins has been selected to pilot the machine. The monoplane attempted to take oil during the week-end with a lull load, but failed to leave the ground and came to rest dangerously close to wall on the outskirts of the aerodrome.
