CORRESPONDENCE
SATURDAY HALF HOLIDAY,
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—Now that the municipal elections are near at hand may I. congratulate those Hokitika citizens who are out to make Saturday the weekly halfholiday. From a health point alone, it is well worth while, as the long week-end gives the opportunity for a real changer from the labours of the Week. # Greymouth is also coming into line and will carry the Saturday half-lm' day, and as they are as enthusiastic about it in Westport also, all that > - mains is for Hokitika to play its par' in making Saturday the universal half holiday throughout the West Coast. I am, etc., WELL WISHER. Greymouth, April 2nd., 1929.
