~ — —* “ A RAH UR A FOOTBALL CLUB. The annual mooting oi the above club was held at Arahura on March 24th when there was a large attendance of members. Mr L laiuui presided. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted, members expressing satisfaction of the financial position of the Club the season’s working showing a credit balance of £U 7s I Ad. A vote of thanks was recorded to tho Secretary for past services. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Patron: Dr Mandl. President: Mrs Toker. Vice-Presidents: Messrs W. Newman, C. Gutlirey, A. Edwards, E. Shorriff, P. Cook, R Kortegast, D. C. Finch, L. Evans, H. Parker, M. Maiull, J. Muir, C. Parker, A. Dowell, T. Muir, AY. Parker. Secretary and Treasurer: J. Stafford (re-elected). Auditor,: Mr J. Malonov. Club Captain: Air I. Taimii. Delegate to Sub-Union: J. Stafford (re-o looted). It was resolved to nominate junior and third grade teams. Subscription for the season was fixed at junior ss, third grade 2s Gd. Messrs E. Keogan and 1. Tain m were elected life members of the Club. It was decided that the first practice game be held on April 7th. Tho meeting then terminated with a vote of tlninks to the chair. . REFEREES CONFER. 'By Telegraph—Press Association;. PALMERSTON N., March 30. At the annual meeting ol the Now Zealand Rugby Referees Association held this morning, Mr 1). McKenzie (Wellington) intimated he was seeking re-election as president, an ullice held since 1913. Mr Krimfield (Auckland) moved that the referee place the hall in the scrummago on all occasions. An amendment was also moved that the words, where possible, be added. Both amendment and motion wore rejected.
