Request for information concerning the Danish live-masted ship, Kobenhavn, recently referred to in the cables as missing is being circulated bv the Navigation- Department. She sailed from Buenos Aires for Melbourne on December LI. Vessels are asked to report whether anything has been heard of her by naval or commercial wireless telegraph stations or whaling companies, and it Hot that every endeavour may be made to establish communication. A request is made that any station which has heard or been in communication with this ship will report to Navy. Melbourne.

ALLEGED OFFENCE

ELTHAM, March 27

At- the EH ham Court to-day, before Justices. Frank Maurice Priest was charged that at Eltham in January of last year lit' did unlawfully supply a certain noxious thing to a woman, knowing same to he intended to he unlawfully used with intent to procure a miscarraige.

Accused entered a plea of not guilty and reserved his defence. He was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth.
