FOOTBALL.
KIWI FOOTBALL CLUB
The annual meeting of the above Club was held last evening when there was a large and enthusiastic attendance of members. Mr H. D. McMana-
way presided. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted and considered very satisfactory. The * year’s operations showed a credit balance: of 13s (id, while tin* liabilities of the Club were of a minor nature. This in itself was very satisfactory considering the fact that the Club has just completed its first year and commenced operations' witli no funds whatever. The election of officers resulted as follows : Patron—-Mr W. E. Williams. President—Mr W. Keller. Senior Vice-President—Mr J. J. MeI luosb. Vice Presidents Last year’s VicePresidents were re-elected ami the following additional elections were made: Messrs A. Armstrong, H. Steel, F. Williams, A. Dowell, Leslie Michel. Radford, R. Devaney and Dr Buchanan. Secretary -Air D. C. Williamson. Treasurer—Air F. Roehfort. Auditor—-Mr L. H. Spencer. Delegates to Sub-Union —Messrs H. D. McManaway and J. Ooulsun. C'lub-Capt.—Mr J. McCleary. Executive—Messrs J. Keller. A. Stephens. A. Dawson. A. MaofatTane, Club and Field Captains and Secretary. The subscription for the season was fixed at os. It was decided to nominate both senior and junior teams for the coning season. The meeting then terminated with a vole of thanks to the chair and to •Mr Keller for the use of his sample rooms. RIMF FOOTBALL CLUB. The animal meeting of the above club was held in the Riinu Town Hall lasi evening there being a large and very enthusiastie attendance of members and supporters present. Mr J. O’Connor was elected chairman. The minutes of tin* previous annual meeting were rend and confirmed. The balance sheet as presented was adopted, a very substantial credit balance being in hand. It was decided to enter a junior and third grade team. The following officers were elected: Mr D. Ryan. President; Secretary. Mr K. Ogilvie: last year’s Vice-Presi-dents were reelected, tin* following additions being made. Mr A. Nancekiveli and |{ev. Father O’Doherty: Mr Connor was re-elected as doings*,te: Mr .1. O’Connbr was elected Club Captain, the Field Captain to be elected oil the ground the day of the first match. The appointment of th'* other committees was held over until a later meeting. A hearty vote of thanks to the chairman [brought a very successful meeting to a close.
