ADDINGTON STOCK SALE.

The following is the range of prices realised at the weekly stock sale at aldington to-day: Fat cattle—A mediuiy entry, mostly cows and heifers. There was a slight rise on last-week’s rates. Best steers made from £l9 I.os to £2l 12s 6d, prime £l7 to £IS 10s, handy weights £l6 H\s to £l7, medium £l3 Lo £l4 los, cows and heifers, best £l3 and £l6 l'2s 6d, prime £9 to £l2 ]6s 6d, medium £8 to £8 17. s od. light £6 10s to £7 16s. Fat sheep—A small yarding. Prices uere slightly better. Best wethers realised up to 36s 10(1, prime 31s to 3'-s. medium 28s to 30s 6d, light 26s to 27s 6d, best ewes to 345, prime 20s to 28s 6d. medium 22s to 26s Oil. light 18s (5d to 21s. Store lambs:—A fair yarding. Prices were slightly easier. Best sorts made to 24s Id, second grade 19s to 21s. third grade 16s to 18s. bulls 13s to 16s. Store sheep—A large entry, with prices a shade lower. There was a good attendance of buyers. Two-tooth ewes realised 38s to 40s. best 4. 6 and 8-tooth owes 30s to 375. aged ewes 29s to 31s, F.M. owes 26s to 28s, culls 20s to i2ls. inferior 11s to 18s Od. Fat lambs—A medium entry, with values tin* same as last week. The best sold at 3ls lOil, prime 28s (id and 39s (id. medium 26s Oil to 28s. light 22s to 265. Pigs - There was a large entry for pork, and the demand was slightly easier. The West Coast was well represented. There was a small yarding for bacon, and prices were easier. Chop, pars I'balised £2 to £4 11s (id. heavy pork £2 6s to £2 16s. light 36s to •12s. tin average- of 7d per lb. Light bacon made from. £2 17s to £3 6s. heavy £3 10 sto £3 I-Is Od. extra to £4 Its 6d.
