MASTERTON, March 14
Representations sire to be made urging the Government to take over tiie Wairaiopa Training Farm at Penrose, Taratahi, near Masterton, for the instruct ion of hoys wishing to follow a career on the .land, a decision to this elfect having been reached by a public meeting held in Masterton tonight.
The general opinion was that the farm is suitable for training in general farm work, and that such;'.training could be arranged so ns to . actas> an adjun.it to the Massey A strong committee was appointedfAs-‘a deputation to place tlie I'ore the Prime .Minister and tlie -Minister of Lands and Agriculture. The chief speaker was the Hon Edward Newman, M.L.C.. chairman of Flock House.
