Cows and heifers sold: Best £l4 and £ 10. prime £0 10s to £l3 10s, medium £8 lbs and £9, light £7 and £8 Ids. Fat .sheep—There was a large entry while prices were oil a par with late rates. Best wethers sold at 30s, prime 29s and 335. medium 27,s and 28s 6d, light 2bs and 26s (id. Ewes sold. Best at 345. prime 24s and 28s, medium 20s to 235. light and aged 10s to 19s Od.

Fat lambs—There was a small yarding. and a good number of West Coasters were included. The prices were up to schedule. Store sheen—There was a good entry of lambs: but they were only medium in quality. The best- sold at 2is to _ls seconds 17s to 20s, thirds 9s to 10s Od. There was a good sale in the adult, department for two-tooth, fourtooth and .six-tooth ewes. The best sold at 38s mid 445, seconds 33s and 375. thirds 20s and 325: aged 18s and 245, culls 9s and 10s Gd.

Pigs—There was a large entry, the West Coast being well represented. Prices were ' slightly easier. Light porkers sold at 42s and 475, heavy 60s and bbs, the average being 7d per lb. Choppers’ sold at 80s and £4 18s 6d. light haeoners £3 to £8 10s, heavy £3 ibs to £1 Is Gd; average Od per lb.
