A line of ten English Leicester ewes and one stud ram from J. B. Laidlaw’s estate lias been exported from Atari borough, intended for the flock of A.. AY. Scott, Alilong, New South Wales. It is the first of such a line to be exported from this province.

’VARSITY RUGBY TOUR. AYELLLNGTON, Alarch 14

A University Rugby team from Australia, including for the first time Melbourne and Brisbane players, is visiting New Zealand in the coming season. It is proposed that the team will leave Sydney on 17th May for Wellington, where the first match will be played. There will be matches with other ’ universities as well as three tests, the latter probably in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland.
