HIKURANGI MINERS
DISPUTE SETTLED

Auckland, March is.
A settlement has been effected in tho strike at Wilson’s Collieries, Hikurangi ,owned by Wilson’s Cement Ltd.,
and the men will commence work tomorrow. No details in regard to the settlement were given by the Auckland Office, which was advised of the position to-day by its local manager.
UNEMPLOYED MINERS.
AUCKLAND, March 13
The Government lias granted £IOO by way of a pound for pound subsidy of money advanced by the hikurangi Town Board for the relief of the miners thrown out of employment owing to the flooding of the Hikurangi Coal Company’s mine.
