THOMAS DEFEATS PARKER. SYDNEY, M^Ht-42. At the Leichardt Stadium Billy Thomas (10.0) a Welsh boxer, outclassed the New Zealander, Vince Parker (10.4) whom he outpointed in lo rounds. Thomas possesses a wicked straight left and also uses a right to the body freely. Parker landed a heavy right •on Thomas’s jaw in the last round and nearly did the trick. Thomas, otherwise, won practically every round.
