EVERYBODY? PICTURES. “SIMPLE SIS,” TO-NIGHT. Tlie picture part of tlie programme will consist of a Warner Bros, comedy, “Simple Sis,” starring Louise Fazenda and Clyde Cook. Romance, thrills, laughter and pathos commingle f in “Simple Sis,” Warner Brok.’ delightfully human story of the love quest of a laundry girl, which Master Pictures will release. Louise Fazenda and Clyde Cook are the princiVpals, and it goes without saying that these peerless mirthmakers ' extract the. maximum of fun ifrom each droll situation. The part of “Simple Sis” is perfectly suited to Miss Fazenda’s unique genius. It is the first, romantic role she lias had for fnany moons, but the love interest does not, for a moment, slacken the pace of the rollicking comedy. The piece has many really thrills, too. one of the high lights being the scene at the tenement fire in which Sis heroically rescues little Buddy; a foundling she has been mothering. Clyde Cook is tlie timid but amorous truck driver, who. seenis miraculously sent into, the lonqly life of Sis, in answer to her prayer's for a husband. Others in the cast are MyniJ Lay*. William..Bemarest, Billy Kent Schaeffer •and. Ontlileen Calhoun. HerHitfn’Haymaker directed. A’ good supporting programme will also be shown.
