A 900 H.P. HYDROPLANE
Major Segrave. who recently left for America to endeavour to advance the world’s speed record on hind, has taken with him a 2(sft single step Hydroplane, which was completed by the British Power lhiat Co. A 900 li.p. 12 cylinder Napier-Schneider Chip typo engine has been fitted in the stern, driving forward to an increasing gearbox. Over 80 m.p.m is anticipated with the boat which hears the name of “Miss England.”
