To-day the Wellington “Evening Post” received a cheque for £IOOO from Airs Tmn Dwan, to assist in the prevention and cure of cancer. Airs Dwan lms been much impressed with the message, of hope conveyed in the recent address delivered by M) Sampson Hadley regarding the supreme importance of an organised effort by tlu> medical profession and the public and she expresses the hope that the gift may be of some assistance to those engaged in such important work lor the relief of suffering humanity.
