BRITISH DELEGATION. OFF TO RUSSIA. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, March 6. Representatives of over 150 British firms and associations with capital totalling a million sterling, attended a meeting of the Anglo-Russian Committee on sth March and adopted a resolution stating the delegation was going to Russia on 25th March', and heartily supporting the efforts to promote trade by direct contact with the Russian Government, declaring with satisfaction that certain of the largest British hanks and financial houses approved of the delegation and urging the committee to take steps to ensure the fullest financial support for British enterprise in Russia. Ernest Remnant, speaking, said the Russian Government’s attitude was entirely friendly and businesslike. QUESTION IN COMMONS. LONDON. March 7. In the Commons, Sir William Davidson asked whether? Government would inquire into what arrangement had been made by petrol companies with Russian oil products? Mr Baldwin did not reply.
