CAR SMASHED
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March -I. Three occuapnts of tv five-heater motor car were ::ont to Auckhn'i Hospital to-night as the result of an accident at a corner when the 'ear crashed head on wirii considerable force into the end of a balustrade tcparating Albert J?tr?et from a nar rou road giving access to Darby Street. The injured are:— John Stokes .married, 34 years, severe gash on the back or the head and shoulder, cuts on the face, condition serious. Mrs AV. Thomas, broken arm. Athol Thomas, aged 0, injured ncclc and concussion as well as biting his tongue right through iThe par .Was driven by • Sydney Knight. The impact with the balustrade was very severe, Stokes being hurled through the windscreen. The car was extensively damaged.
