ARAHURA FAT STOCK SAKE. M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT. At yesterday’s fixture at the above yard there was a very heavy yarding of sheep and a moderate entry of cattle, which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Our yarding consisted of 340 sheep and lambs and 48 head of fat cattle. Prices realised for fat cattle were on a par with those Of the previous sale, whilst sheep and lambs met with a very good sale. We sold as follows: On account of W. Gutlierlet 40 s.m. ewes at 28s 6d; on account of Harris Bros (Okuru) 47 f and t lambs at 2os 3d : on account of (Mr Berwick 64 s.m. ewes at 28s, 33 store lambs at 20s, 1 ram at 18s, 1 at 20s, 16 fat lambs at 23s 3d, 3 wethers at 26s 6d ; on account of G. Punch 31 store lambs at 16s 9d, 25 ewes at 245; an account of W. A. Jamieson 16 fat ewes at 26s 6d. 60 fat wether hoggets at 28s 6d; on account of R. Wilson 2 cows at £4 17s 6d, 1 at £6; on account of P. Olson 2 fat cows at £lO 10s, 2 at £ll 7s 6d, 1 heifer at £4 10s, 2cows at £lO 7s 6d, 2 at £9 17s 6d; on account o-f J. Ward 1 vealer at £3 17s 6d, 2 bullocks at £ls; on account of M. Kelly 2 bullocks at £ll 7s 6d, 1 heifer at £9 10s, 1 steer at £9 15s; on account of J. Kelly 1 cow at £9 15s, 1 heifer at £9 10s, 4 steers at £9 15s; on account of W. Houston 1 bullock at £l9 2s .6d, 1 cow at £6 2s 6d, 2 bullocks at £ls 7s 6d, 2 fit £l2 15s, 1 at £9 10s; on account of a client 2 bullocks at £lO 12s 6d, 2 at £lO 105,.• 2 at £ll ss, 2 at £ll, 2 at £lO 17s 6d, 2 at £l4 7s 6d, 2 at £l4 ss, 1 bullock and 1 heifer at £lO. At the above yards yesterday there was a good attendance of butchers and graziers. Competition was good all through the saje, though in some cases it was considered that there was an easing in the prices for beef. Good prime ox made to 46s per hundred, medium quality to' 425, heifers from 38s to 40s. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co’s entry comprised 62 sheep and lambs and 40 nead of cattle. The following sales were recorded. On account Messrs Harris Bros. 39 ewe lambs at 25s 3d, 15 fat wethers at 30s. On account W. Diedrichs, 2 bullocks at £ls 7s 6d, 2 at £ll ss, 2 at £l6 15s, 2 at £l3 10s, 2 at £l4 10s, 2 at £l3 12s 6d. 1 at £ls 10s, 1 at £l4 15s. 2 at £ll 10s, 1 at £l4 17s 6d, 2 at £lO 7s 6d, 1 heifer at £B, 1 at £7 2s 6d, 1 cow at £8 2s 6d, 1 at £B. On account of a client, 4 steers at £9 2s 6d, 1 cow at £9 10s, 1 at £8 10s, 1 at £8 2s 6d, 1 at £6, 1 heifer at £6 15s.
