iVERYBODYS PICTURES. NORMA TALMADGE—TO-NIGHT. Norma Talmadg© started work on "The Dove,” the first United Artists picture, the day after she had completed work in "Camille,”’ her final First National release. The one ciay interval- between these two producmarked the shortest "between pictures” vacation the star has had since she first faced the camera at the age of fourteen. ‘The Dove,” a play s by Willard Mack, was first produc©<s by David Belaseo, with Holbrook Blinn and . Judith Anderson in the leading roles. It ran for more than a year on Broadway. In the screen version Miss Talmadge acts the part of "Dolores /Romero,” - the third (Belaseo role Norma Talmadge has brought to the screen, "Wetona” in i "The Heart of Wetona,” being the first, and "KikP’ the second. ' "The Dove,” which ‘is at the Princess Theatre to-night, was directed by Roland West, associate . producer in the Joseph M. Schenck organisation. The supporting cast is-.a notable one. including Gilbert Rolandi, who appeared as "Armand Duval” with Miss. Talnuidge in "Camille,” and Noah Bemy, playing Holbrook,,Blinn’s role. Michael Vaviteh, of the Moscow Art Musical Studio, Harry Myers, and Evelyn Selhie also appear. The screen version of "The Dove” is laid in 1 Costa Roja, a mythical, semi-tropical land. Against this colourful background the story of the dance hall girl gives Miss Talmadge one of the most dramatic and vivid roles in her career. On.
