ENGLAND TO N.Z. FLIGHT
(By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, February 27. Arrangements 'for an attempt to make one of the most ambitious aerial voyages yet planned, p flight from England to New Zealand, have been progressing during the last three months. Advice lias been received by Auckland supporters that Pilot F. Mace, who is in England, would be ready to start within a few days. Mace intends to fly via the Vienna-Karachi-Singapore route, as followed by Hinkler, and if he can keep to the schedule, he would complete the flight before the end of March. The journey will he made solo. Mace is confident of his ability to navigate the Tasman Sea. When he first considered undertaxing a long-distance flight lie received a very high recommendation from AirMarshal Sir Hugh Trenchard. DEATH OF AIRMAN. SYDNEY, February 26.. The death has occurred of Aircraftsman Colless, who was injured when a D.H. Moth crashed at the Richmond Aerodrome.
