NEW CHIEF JUSTICE
MR M. MYERS, K.C. (By Telegraph—Prese Association). WANGANUI, Feb. 26. The “Wanganui Chronicle” reports that the Attorney-General has decided to recommend the appointment of Mr Michael Myers, K. 0., of Wellington, to bo Chief Justice of New Zealand, succeeding the late Sir Charles Skerrett. The announcement- of the appointment will probably be made after the Governor-General’s return to Wellington at the week-end.
