CHILD FATALLY SCALDED. |By Telegraph, Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, February 26. An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the deittli of Raymond Blomfield, aged one year and niiiv months, who died in Southland Hospital on Monday from severe scalds, was held before a Justice of the Peace ana a jury of 'four to-day. A verdict was returned that the child died lrom shoes as the result of being accidentally scalded by slipping on the edge .of a cesspit into which boiling water was being run, with a view to clearing av obstruction. .
